The Kazdanga castle and manor complex has belonged to the very rich and politically influential Kurzeme barons Manteifelis for many generations. Kazdanga Palace in the classicism style of the 19th century. was originally built by the famous Western European architect J. G. Berlitz. Currently, there is a museum in the castle building, where you can learn about the history of Kazdanga Parish, the history of the Kazdanga Agricultural Technical School and part of the Bojas Forest Museum exposition. The Kazdanga Tourist Information Point (TIP) is located in the castle.
