"Home Cafe Days" is a special event where improvised cafes open their doors to visitors for one or two days, inviting them to enjoy every region of Latvia through its culinary offerings, traditions and culture.

The chefs and waiters are local residents who are not usually involved in catering or hosting guests on a daily basis, but on these days treat guests with the special home-cooked dishes of their family or region.

Home Cafe Days is a regional tourism destination promotion event organized by the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA) in cooperation with regional representatives, this promotion will take place all over Latvia for the fourth year.
