Vērgale Parish Museum

The museum was founded in 1992 and is located in the former distillery of the manor. The museum keeps evidence of the history of his native village. Here you can see the exhibition dedicated to the parish and its history "Vērgale laiku lokos".

Museum visitors can familiarize themselves with agricultural tools and household items made in Vērgale, as well as rows woven on looms in the common floor path.

The open collection is located on the 1st floor of the building, regular thematic and art exhibitions can be seen in the exhibition hall. The atmosphere of antiquity is conjured up by tales and stories in the unique mantle chimney, which is one of the largest in Kurzeme.
