Memorial stone to Fritz Brivzemnieks
On the opposite side of the road from Juras Zingberg's place of execution, there used to be a tavern building where the folklorist Fricis Brīvzemnieks (Treilands) was born in 1846. His father was a saddler and for some time rented the Rokaižu pub from the baron. The memorial stone to the poet, folklorist Fritz Brīvzemnieks (1846 – 1907) was opened in 1982.
