Ezerskolas Sacrifice Stone
The sacrificial stone is located in the territory of the former Ezerskola old manor park. Here was one of the ancient Latvian cult places, where the Kurus honored their gods. The diameter of the magic stone is 2 m.
Pape Lake was also called the Holy Lake in ancient times. Several Curonian sanctuaries have been located at its northern end. The most popular sight is the Ezerskola sacrificial stone on the Kalniški side. There are certain places to stand or lie down near the stone to relieve stress and treat various ailments. Nine oak trees have grown in Svētbirz, planted in groups of three, forming plantings around a stone located in the middle of Svētbirz. Currently, out of nine oaks, only five large trees have survived. However, the new owners, according to the old people's stories about the location of the oak trees, planted new oak trees in the missing places.
