The red three-story brick building is typical of the 19th century. an example of an end production building with a rich architectural design of the main facade and, as in Soviet times, it is also today an architectural monument of local importance. The building originally housed Gertrude Lindenberg's pharmacy carton factory, founded in 1890, which produced pharmacy boxes, pouches and labels. The factory's products were distributed throughout Tsarist Russia until the First World War. During the Second World War, the German army repaired weapons at the factory. Later, after the war, the Aizpute district industrial complex was organized on the basis of the factory. In 1960, the premises of the key factory "Kvēle" were moved from Riga to the industrial complex of the Aizpute district, and the "Aizpute" Key and construction cladding factory was formed, which a little later became the "Kurzeme" metal fittings factory, and has been known as the metal fittings factory for almost 30 years now. A/S "Kurzemes atslēgas"
The interior of the club premises of A/S "Kurzemes atslēgtas" is worthy of attention, in which the authentic Soviet postmodernist interior, untouched by changes, has been preserved. The production process of the club and the factory can be viewed by prior arrangement.
