The museum is located in a historical building - the house of the new Pilsmuiža lords. The building was built in the 18th-19th centuries. alternate as the new lord's house. The museum has 7 permanent expositions that provide an insight into the history of the city of Aizpute and its immediate surroundings, as well as the economic and cultural life. A new art exhibition is exhibited in the museum exhibition hall every month.

The museum invites you not only to view and familiarize yourself with the museum's expositions, but also to develop your abilities and learn something new by participating in the educational programs and creative workshops offered by the museum in the exhibition "Ancient rural craft skills". Working time:

• 1.05.- 30.09. Tuesday- Friday 10:00-17:00, Saturday 10:00-16:00

• 1.10.-30.04. Tuesday-Friday 10:00-16:00, every 3rd Saturday 10:00-14:00
