On the picturesque shore of Lake Tāši, in the homestead "Krastmaļi," the Kļava family lives and manages their farm—returning to their roots after leaving behind the hustle and bustle of big cities and career labyrinths.
At "Krastmaļi," you can pitch your tent in a century-old apple orchard, on the sauna hill with a view of Lake Tāši, in floodplain meadows, or in a small grove near the lake. Sleeping close to the lake allows you to feel deeply connected to nature, surrounded by deer, foxes, various bird species, and many other animals. Each guest can choose their preferred camping spot.
You can reach "Krastmaļi" on foot, by bike, car, motorcycle, and even by helicopter. A generator is available for trailers. The area around Lake Tāši is scenic, offering excellent opportunities for daily runs, cycling trips (whether sporty or family-friendly), long walks, visits to Tāši Manor, purchasing locally grown and produced goods, and fishing.
During the season, you can also buy vegetables grown on the farm, as well as order pumpkins, beans, preserves, and juices for winter storage. In spring, the farm produces a highly popular and sought-after wild herb pesto—a true vitamin and energy bomb! If only Oppenheimer had known about it...
By prior arrangement, you can also enjoy delicious breakfasts or dinners made from local products.
Private celebrations in an untamed, natural setting can also be arranged.
A pier leads to the lake. How about morning exercises on it? Sipping meadow tea on fragrant summer nights while stargazing at Orion and the Big Dipper? Refreshing your body and spirit in the sauna with local honey and birch whisks?
All this is possible on the shores of Lake Tāši, at the Kļava family's homestead, "Krastmaļi."
