The Telses (Telsen) manor is first mentioned in written sources in 1501. From 1641 until the mid-19th century, the manor belonged to the von Korff family, during which the manor center's buildings were developed. The main house was built in 1734 but was rebuilt in the mid-19th century.
The building retains valuable baroque-style fireplaces, a stone-made main entrance portal, and other details. The first floor of the large house was built in the 1760s, while the second floor was constructed in 1778. The former manor center is surrounded by historical landscaping on a 10-hectare area. Since 2000, conservation and restoration work has been carried out in the complex's buildings by the tenants in cooperation with the "Tāšu manor" association.
Visitors can learn about the ongoing work in the manor, listen to an interesting story about Tāšu manor's history, and discover how all the necessary restoration materials have arrived from various locations in Latvia. Visits should be scheduled in advance.
