Priekule manor
The manor house of the Priekule barons Korfu was built in the 18th century. on the 2nd side. 19th century in the second half, the manor house was rebuilt according to the project of the chief architect of Liepāja, Paula Maks Berči (1840—1911). Then an observation tower was also built near it. The house and tower of the Barons of Corfu were destroyed during World War II. The manor house was restored after the war, but the tower regained its appearance only during the revival of Latvia - in the 20th century. in the 90s. Priekule Secondary School operates in the building of the manor house, but the observation tower with the Latvian flag on the mast has become a symbol of the restoration of the country's independence and a place for gatherings of Priekule residents during the Republic of Latvia holiday.
