The birthplace of Kronvalds Atis "Lejas - Miķi."

This is the place where the linguist, Young Latvian, and publicist Kronvalds Atis was born and grew up. Near the former home site, there is a memorial plaque dedicated to the Kronvalds Atis family with the inscription: “Each place is sacred to the one where they were born and raised.” (A. Kronvalds) Next to the house, there is a birch grove with 167 birches, planted in 2004 by the students of Krote and Durbe schools, whose schools bear the name of Kronvalds Atis.
