The surroundings of Vaiņode boast a hilly terrain and stunning landscapes. One of the most beautiful views can be seen from Volzbaha Hill, located just 2 kilometers from the center of Vaiņode.

The steep slope, offering a breathtaking view over the ravine, attracts numerous visitors.

In winter, the hill features a more than 100-meter-long slope for skiing, snowboarding, or sledding. During other seasons, Volzbaha Hill is an excellent spot for recreation, with picnic areas, walking paths, and photo opportunities. In autumn, Volzbaha is one of the best places in the Vaiņode region to enjoy the vibrant fall scenery.

The hill is easily accessible by car.
