The Embūte nature trail introduces you to the ancient valley of Embūte, which was an ancient inhabited and sacred place. It is one of the most beautiful and mysterious places in Kurzeme, located between several tens of meters high hills - Pavārkalni, Vēreskalni, Radiņkalni, Embūte castle hill and Krivu (Krivu) hill. In 1999, the nature park "Embūte" was created, with an area of 481 ha. The nature park is a Natura 2000 area. Its main value is a complex of untouched ravines and slope forests with mineral-rich springs.

New stairs, viewing platforms and a viewing tower have been built on the nature trail. It is recommended to start your visit to the Embūte Nature Park from the Embūte Tourist Information Center, where you can conveniently park your car.
