Stone bridge in Kazdanga

A stone bridge built in 1840, or popularly known as the Vaidu bridge, leads over the ravine to the Kazdanga manor at the end of the linden alley. Why the bridge of groans? Because a lot of tears, sweat and blood have been shed while building this bridge. It is the highest three-span stone bridge in Kurzeme. Length - 57 m, height - 5.1. The top of the bridge has granite posts with iron chains and decorations. The current chains are said to be from maritime, a fragment of the baron's chain can be seen in the Kazdang Museum.
