Tašu - Padure manor (Tasch - Paddern) was built in the 19th century. in the beginning as a castle of the Corfu family, which in 1852 passed into the ownership of the Keizerling family as a hunting castle, which served as a summer residence, and is an excellent example of late classicism. Several fragments of the ancient interior decoration have been preserved in the interior. After the completion of the palace, a park of more than 10 hectares with exotic trees began to be built around it. Currently, the Kalvenes elementary school is located in the manor building.
