The Lutheran Church of Cīrava was built during the reign of Baron H.F. Von Baer from 1780-1781. year in Sudmalkaln. From the outside, it resembles other Kurzeme churches with its pyramidal tower, red slate roof and massive brick walls. The altar and pulpit are a Rococo work of art (author unknown). The altar, the pulpit and the men's bench built in 1781, which rests on a woman's head, as well as the organ's lights and prospectus, and the decorative decoration of the rooms are artistic monuments of national importance. An old church bell and an organ from the 18th century have also been preserved in the church. first half. A white marble portrait of Baroness Juliana Elisabeth von Baer is placed in the church. A number of valuable interior items have been preserved - candlesticks, a bench, a sacrificial vessel, a cup and a paten. In the tombs under the church, the landlady of Aizpute manor J.E. von Billova and her daughter J.E. von Baer were buried. The two ornate metal sarcophagi are now in the Rundāle Castle Museum.
