Mārtiņš Freimanis' musical bench

Mārtiņš Freimanis' musical bench is installed in one of the most scenic spots in the city – near Aizpute Manor, with a view of the mill pond and Aizpute St. John's Church.

Sitting on the bench, you can listen to recordings of Mārtiņš reading excerpts from his diary "An Ordinary Man and His Diary," which are not available anywhere else and come from M. Kalniņa's personal archive, along with three of his songs.

The musical bench, complete with a lantern, was created by artist and designer Ainars Alžāns.
