The Evangelical Lutheran Church of Nica, which is built of masonry, was built between 1849 and 1851 according to the project of the Kurzeme governorate architect F. Schultz. The Nice Church existed and was active in the period from 1849 to 1945. During the Second World War, in April 1945, German soldiers blew up the church tower. Its roof collapsed, partly also the walls. The 1949 photos show ruins instead of the tower. The restoration of the church and its interior began in the post-war years. On May 21, 1961, the church was closed and the activity of the parish was stopped. The congregation regained the church only in 1990, where a gym was built before that. Today, the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Nica operates.
