The historical fish reception and processing point in Pape, built in 1936, is an important witness to the life of coastal fishermen. At that time, fishing was one of the main sources of income for the inhabitants of the villages of Pape and Nida. Fish were delivered not only to nearby areas but also to Bārta and other more distant regions.

Currently, the building houses an exhibition that tells the story of the local village’s history and the Pape Nature Park. The building can be visited by contacting the tourism center in advance at +371 29134903.

In Dzintarvēji, the "Māliņu Kleķerētava" created by the Curonian Initiative Foundation operates. Creative workshops are offered for small groups.
