The ruins of Bārta Church

The ruins of Bārta Church are located on the border between Bārta and Dunikas parishes. The first church on this site was built in 1560. Over time, several churches were constructed until, in 1892, a brick church was built according to the design of the famous Liepāja architect Maksis Pauls Berči. The church building was destroyed in 1945 and has not been restored. When visiting the ruins, safety precautions should be followed!
