Gramzdas pagasts, Dienvidkurzemes novads

The ruins are located in the Gramzda parish and are unique due to their construction technique. While most of the oldest churches in Latvia were built using masonry, the Smaižu Church was constructed using concrete casting technique. The church operated until 1952. The tower and walls of the Smaižu Church have been preserved and still blend well with the rural landscape of Dāma village.
