The museum displays ancient household items, unique and valuable things found in the garbage heaps. The exhibition includes a historical spinning cart, a dowry chest, a 19th century women's toilet cabinet, as well as sewing machines, electrical appliances and many other interesting household items from different times.
The original portrait of Lenin painted in 1960 in a massive gilded frame and the painting by the Libyan painter Jānis Belte are especially noteworthy. Currently, more than 50 different objects are placed in the exposition, but their number continues to grow.
