Virga Antiquities Collection

The Virga Antiquities Collection is once again open to visitors. It has been renovated and supplemented with new exhibits. Here, you can get an insight into the history of the Vārtājas River and the village of Virga, the Virga Manor and the Noldu family, as well as the times of war and the Soviet collective farm era in Virga. Not only can you view the objects, but you can also listen to the stories. A walk through Virga Manor will enrich the information with feelings – a sense of ancient times and the presence of people from the past.

Former residents of Virga and former students of Virga Primary School may find the newly arranged Virga School Museum particularly interesting. Here, you can experience the school environment, look at photographs, flip through the chronicles of pioneers, October children, and the school, view the students' research works, and remember the times when the grass was greener, and life was more colorful and eventful.
