Transportation Parking: The car can be parked in the parking lot near the Tourism Information Center at Atmodas Street 16.
Misiņkalns Nature Park began development in the 1930s and covers an area of approximately 28 hectares. Misiņkalns is the highest point in Aizpute city, standing 95.4 meters above sea level. The park is crisscrossed by walking paths, and it also contains a motocross track and a memorial stone for the repressed individuals. To the west of the park lies the Misiņkalns Cemetery.
A total of 129 bird species have been observed along the trail. The route includes the Tebras River Valley and the Misiņkalns park. The area features a mixed forest park, with oak trees dominating, a river, water mills, buildings, and small gardens.
Movement: In winter, the route can be visited on foot or by skiing. During spring, summer, and autumn, the route is visited on foot. Bicycles can be used partially, as some sections have steep terrain and the paths are covered with concrete stairs.
Season: Winter is ideal for waterfowl watching. Morning and evening visits are possible from March to October, during bird migration and nesting seasons. The route can be visited at night from March to mid-July.
