The route passes through Rucava, historically known as the Paurupe village. Along the winding path, you will have the opportunity to explore significant and historical locations in the village, several monumental trees, and parts of the Rucava arboretum. In total, there are 11 informative stands with photographs where you can search for and discover the changes that have taken place over the decades in the small and beautiful village’s daily life and economy. The path also passes by the "Alejas" bakery, where you can enjoy delicious bread baked in a traditional oven. The route's length is also suitable for active children and cyclists.

Upon prior request, the route can be taken with a guide, including additional detours not marked on the regular route, and providing a more detailed story about the village.
